* Continuing to work with Latin Percussion as a web development contractor. I created several large-scale websites, including the corporate website. This project concluded with a client training session. Other projects included the creation of Spanish site and a custom "MySpace" page.

* Helping rebuild Toca Percussion’s website. I created HTML/CSS templates enhanced with a custom JavaScript framework. Usability and accessibility features were assessed and implemented into the final deliverables. I project managed every phase of each project.

* Working with ProjectCenter to rebuild their website architecture and brand with a focus on SEO. The new design calls attention to important Call-To-Action items to drive business requests (goals). Organic traffic rose 300% in three months, allowing my client to stop paid search efforts completely (saving hundreds of dollars a month) and still get more requests than before. I also created a branded website, blog, email template and Twitter theme.

Designed and produced data-driven web sites (design based on analytics and conversion data as well as branding, aesthetics and best practices) as the lead web designer at CUnet. Designed web pages and user interfaces (including wire frames, site maps, information architecture, and Photoshop comps), wrote front end code by hand (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/AJAX – jQuery, YUI, Mootools), optimized pages for search engines (SEO), and tested with internal and external clients. * Consistently creating landing pages (for PPC and organic use) with a bounce rate below 50% and a conversion rate above an industry average of 3% (and some as high as 13%).

* Helping plan an enterprise level search portal (search, content, ad serving, maps, profiles, lead forms, and more).

Acted as a subject matter expert in web design and usability for Insight. Oversaw a team of designers and contractors, managed project workflow, branding, functionality, and usability. Evaluated and recommended opportunities for improvement focused on Insight's internet marketing projects, primarily for North America. Worked in a cross-functional environment, often being the first point of contact with co-workers outside of the creative department. Charged with creating effective, high-converting websites, emails, and other marketing collateral. Frequently presented and quantified projects and results to senior management. * Raising website traffic by 15% in my first seven months at the company.

* Reorganizing web production schedules to bring all work in-house, saving the company approximately $5,000 over a five month period.

* Creating a new HTML template for a weekly email campaign, raising its recipient click-through rates by 73%.

* Increasing overall open rates for all marketing emails by 25%. Also raised average click-through rates from less than 1% to almost 4%. Subscribers lists grew by 68%.

* Creating, testing, implementing, and documenting a corporate-branded CSS framework that ensures consistency and reduces development time of web pages.

* Bringing the department back on schedule from three months of back-logged projects, completing over 200 total projects in eight months.

Helped research, develop, and monitor online course materials. I also graded student projects. These services were performed for all faculty members over multiple subjects.

Worked extensively in (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and template-based environments. Also worked with C#, VB.net, PHP, and Flash Action Scripts. Problem solving, timelines, budgets, attention to detail, project management, web standards, search engine optimization, working independently, and self development were stressed and used daily. Pixel-perfect detail across several major browsers. Worked in a fast-paced and profit-oriented environment. * First in company to master SiFR text replacement, deconcept standards-compliant flash embedding, and dynamic website templates for use in client deliverables. Trained peers on these techniques for future client projects.

* Worked on high-profile projects for clients such as Red Bull, NASA, and Catholic Charities.

Updated, optimized, and maintained ten public websites. Handled email advertising campaigns, including database management. Volunteered for additional responsibilities in audio/video editing, saving outsourcing expenses. Also trouble-shooted Mac/PC/Server issues and wrote copy.

Designed and created web pages for corporate sites, designed and deployed customer emails for several mailing lists, and performed maintenance of corporate projects both online and offline (ranging from direct mail pieces to presentations).

* Brought the production of 1,000+ product image sets and the web-based annual report in house, saving the company approximately $10,000 in outsourcing fees.
